That's the tagline of an anime series I'm really enjoying at the moment. Ga-Rei ZeroI'd always liked the artwork of the manga, but I thought it would be too shounen for me. However, the anime is actually an original story set before the manga, acting as a prequel. And it has really strong character and emotional focus, which I like, and foreboding

I just read 26 chapters of the manga and think I like it a lot more than the anime (so far), but I have to admit that the characterization in the anime is a lot better, mostly because of the original story, I guess. For some reason, it reminded me a little bit of Bleach. But yes, I thought it was a bit angsty too!

Thank you for the reccomendation! I watched a few episodes while recovering from the ball in bed today ^^; It is really sweet and funny! Like you said, angst done well.
