Lately, I seem to be getting back into my old fandoms, and it's starting to scare me a little. Scared because it's not just one fandom, but lots, and I might start buying all this merchandise and go on some sort of high and crash. XD

Like, last week I'd been rewatching Sailor Moon, but that might have been slightly triggered off by Last Friends,

I'm not a big fan of Evangelion and I've only ever seen it in Japanese for the movie... so I'm wondering if I should watch the series without dubs :x

I think I might because Haruka made me fall in love with Megumi Obata... and I'd like to hear her Shinji XD

Which movie are you talking about? The older ones (Death & Rebirth, End of Evangelion) or the new one from last year?
If you didn't really like Eva from watching the dub, I don't think it'll make that much of a difference watching it in Japanese...

The Eva English dub is one of the few dubs I actually like, but it still can't compare to the Japanese seiyuu cast. ^__^ So many great seiyuu, plus I'm a diehard Mitsuishi Kotono fan. <3 Hehe, the funny thing is that while Ogata Megumi plays Shinji, Mitsuishi-sama (Sailor Moon herself) plays Misato so it's like a reversal of roles~

Shinji is nothing like Haruka, so the voice used is a lot of more timid, but boy, can Ogata Megumi scream. XD If you want to hear Ogata Megumi in another cool, "akogare" role, I recommend Cardcaptor Sakura~ She played Yukito/Yue in that. ^^

The older ones... Oh okay... :x Well.. it was so long ago though... first year high school @___@; And like... even though I didn't really like it that much, I watched it every week on SBS... :P

Mm yes... but I like Ogata Megumi in general :x Even her songs~~ X3 So I think I could appreciate her as Shinji :P Ooooh! I should rewatch CCS XD Was so long ago when I saw it (mid high school) and at that time had no understanding of Japanese (watched it Japanese w/ chinese subs...)

I've had to make sure I stay off hlj because I always end up doing a search for Evangelion merchandise and get sad because I want it all!! Eva got me into anime as well, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who still adores it. Whenever I need to get pumped up I listen to Cruel Angel Thesis and Decisive Battle on a loop. :P

Ahhhhhhh. I need to marathon it again sometime!!

Haha I know what you mean. I was looking at that new Misato figure (the same one tang posted about getting a while back), and just wanting it. And I'm not even into figures! XD

Yes, Eva has so much rewatch value! There's just something special about it~ Also, don't worry, Jeffu has already told me to bring the new movie on Sat, so you shall behold the wonder of Eva again soon too! =3

I'm a lazy fangirl, I very rarely buy merchandise offline, though I will pick up something little if I see it at a con.

I never got in to Eva either, it's a bit too shounen for me. I really want to watch Sailor Moon again though! <3

I don't think that's lazy! ^^; I mostly buy my merchandise online as well, because there's hardly anything here, and if so it's ridiculously overpriced.

CCS is still my all time favourite mahou shoujo though! Its my comfort anime too ^-^ I watch it when I'm feeling down.

Haha, I'm surprised you need to ask. =P It is of course, Michiru (Neptune) and Haruka (Uranus). ^^ If we're talking about Inner Senshi only, I like Jupiter best.

CCS is a great cheer-up anime. <3 I find Kaleido Star does the job well too!
