Hmm, they're not really a couple per se, more like Ueno Juri's character (Ruka, the shorthaired one) has feelings towards Nagasawa Masami's character (Michiru, who is oblivious to it). Lots of angst! ^^;;
Photo!!! Put some up so we all can see your haircut! I'm lobbing my hair off soon too. LOL. I grew it out for AK's wedding and I'm a little tired of it.
Haha, I can't seem to get good photos of it. :( It's hard taking pictures of myself, and it doesn't really show it well cos my hair is so dark. But I'll try!
Hi, um this is gonna sound weird so i'm sorry in advance. I came across your (awesome) blog when i was looking up Ruka (again) cause i really want to cut my hair like her.. and omg you cut your hair like her?? I just want to know, how is it? Are you happy? Is it easy to manage? Is your hair naturally straight? Cos mine isn't. Anyway I'm sorry about how random this is, if you don't want to reply, well that's normal! Ja, matte imasu!
Hiya! No no, it isn't weird at all, I'm really happy you took the time to read my blog! ^_^
I got the Ruka-inspired haircut back in May, and while it wasn't EXACTLY like hers, I still liked it a lot. It's very easy to manage, and cos it's so short you don't even have to comb it. In terms of styling, just get some styling mud (or wax) and mess it through your hair. Really quick, only takes like a minute. ^^ Yes, my hair is naturally straight, and I've always kept it quite short (like less than shoulder length), so I'm not sure how different it is for you. Also keep in mind face shape.
The only issue with short hair is maintenance. You have to keep trimming it otherwise it'll grow out and not sit properly. That being said, I'm letting my hair grow out a bit before deciding if I'll recut it Ruka style again. Once it grows out, it doesn't look as good anymore, but it's not too bad. But you should definitely try it out, I had a lot of fun doing the "messy" look with this hairstyle! ^^
