Even Conservative Wick Allison endorses Obama.

Excerpt: Barack Obama is not my ideal candidate for president. (In fact, I made the maximum donation to John McCain during the primaries, when there was still hope he might come to his senses.) You should be. People are flocking to this ridiculous woman because she's a religious conservative -- and some are voting for McCain simply because they cannot accept the idea of voting for a black man. It's shameful.

I always knew the latter would happen.

Palin has more than a few things going for her; shes a woman - which counts for a LOT, regardless she's no Hilary!, she's VERY religious - and we all know the bible belt will vote in force for someone like her, and she's "familiar" or "common". Frankly it makes me sick. >_

After the financial stuff about the bailout came out recently, polls show Obama has leaped ahead from 40% to 60%.
