Someone in the United States developed a neighborhood of 31 homes based on Lord of the Rings, with cute houses that have Hobbit holes for their back doors and a sort of Shire- and Rivendell-esque decoration style of trees and leaves. Unfortunately, it ruined the man financially to make this development and now that he's made it, the real estate

It would be super fantastic. If it wasn't in Oregon I'd be all for it, but alas, despite my living at the asscrack of Canada, I dislike cold weather and especially hate rain, so that's pretty much out for me. :/ But I do hope enough fans read about this place and save it. It may be too late for him to recoup his losses, but that doesn't mean his dream won't live if the right folks move in.
