I'm not picky really. You might have said or not, I can't remember, but your personal favourite place in the world (which might be anything from say a room you like to relax in of an evening, a place you've been to visit, a restaurant or even a place that you've not been to but really like anyway - if such a place exists)? Feel free to go into detail of you want, although I'll settle for a one word answer. ;)

Edit: I'm not sure if comments are screened though, if you definitely want them to be. This one posted fine without the 'your comment has been screened and is only viewable to you and the original poster' message I normally get. And it didn't have (comment will be screened) next to my username - although it did next to OpenID and anonymous.

I don't know where I'd like to go most that I haven't been before.

My favorite city was Half Moon Bay, California. I loved it there but it was teeny tiny and not practical. Second favorite was San Francisco, which was just gorgeous and I cried when I left it.

But the place I miss the most, I think, was the marina in New Orleans. I would go out to the yacht marina late at night when it was deserted and dark, and I'd walk out to the end of the pier and lie down on my back staring up at the stars in the darkness, and the wind would be very strong there on the lake, so it would blow around all the chains and ropes of the yachts moored there, and it sounded like a million wind chimes all around me, filling my head, and the water slowly lap lap lapped rhythmically beneath me, with the moon overhead. I'd lie out there and cry and chain-smoke clove cigarettes, actually, and wish I were anywhere else in the world, and now it's the one place in the world I truly miss. Ironic. ;?

Kinda the same as Alilacia, sorry.

If you could go anywhere/travel anywhere, where would you go? (Fictional/Non-fictional, Metaphorical or real. :P)

And I don't think I have a question for you really.

This was a tough one for me. I think I'd have to say Rivendell. But only if nobody suffered for my leaving (such as my children).

Ooooh, good answer!

In what age of Rivendell though? Pre/Post rings?

And why Rivendell and not Lothlorien or something? (Though I'd choose Rivendell too. :P)

I thought of Lothlorien but I think Rivendell is less freaky spooky and more peaceful.

Pre-Rings, because post- and everyone would be going to the grey havens. :(
