I honestly thought that for my first post I'd do something profound and wonderful. But, instead, I'm taking the cowards way out and posting a combat card....except I am not all sure what they are. I just think it'll be fun.

Thanks a bunch for friending back! Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. Its been a killer week - end of the term and all that jazz.
I am actually pretty diverse in my interests, and enjoy studying fandom as a social phenonmenon as well. I love meta. Its a shame that so much of it is locked these days. I am doing a research project on the politics of the Harry Potter fandom. I don't remember now which piece of your meta drew me to you, but there was probably something that I really wanted to read but was flocked.
Don't worry, I don't flag journals. Nope, I love me my fandom. God, I hope thats not what people will end up thinking of lurkers now, that they are sock puppet flagging journals...Just what I need.
