I hope you are not sitting there going uh-oh, this chick plays only like, two characters, and I have never heard of them. Do not fear! Although I love me some Sarah Jane Adventures shenanigans, I equally love anything relating to Doctor Who

1. What kind of music do you like? (If the answer is 'anything', listing a few bands you enjoy would be great.)

2. Do you have any preferred pairings (or despised ships) for Firefly or Doctor Who/Torchwood?

1. Whilst I tend to prefer folksy music at the moment, I really do like anything, except for heavy rock or repetitive techno. Even then there are exceptions if the lyrics are something special, which does happen occasionally. Artists I am particularly fond of at the moment are Deb Talan, The Weepies, Stars and Jump. I also have a last.fm account here which might be more helpful.

2. Preferred pairings for Firefly are Wash/Zoe and Simon/Kaylee. For Doctor Who/Torchwood I tend to like all of the sort of mainstream ships, but my favourites are probably the Doctor (either 9/10) and Rose, platonic DoctorDonna, Jack and Rose, plus Jack and the Doctor. Neither canon has any ships that I really despise, although I generally find Simon/River to be entirely unconvincing and a little squicky.

“We’re getting’ paid in sense now?” asks Jayne, pulling out a handkerchief crackling with filth and wiping his sweaty face as he wanders over. “I ain’t havin’ none of that.”

“Suddenly, everything is clear.” The dry tones of Simon Tam reach them as he walks down the steps. Jayne screws up his face in his I-think-I-just missed-an-insult expression, then settles for glaring at Simon anyway. Mal’s eyes are skyward.

“Do none of you on my ship have jobs you should be getting’ to?”

“I got to mine,” says Jayne, still surly from the useless packhorsing.

“Actually, I was looking for River,” says Simon, oblivious to Kaylee’s disappointment that he wasn’t looking for her. “Have any of you seen her? Zoe said she saw her come this way

River rolls her eyes and swans ahead of them both. Mal calls out: “And after you take tea, maybe you could get some work done

“I’m the Doctor. A ship, is it? Oh yes, I see now, light freighter, Firefly class three, that cargo’s got Mandarin Chinese all over it making this, ooooh, I’d have to say two four sixty… two? Ursula region? Good movers, these, though not really that defensible without a bit of customization, never really caught on
