I'm so sorry that everything has been so hard and complicated during your pregnancy, but it seems as if you have really good medical care and a lot of people to make sure you'll be healthy through the rest of this process. I imagine that it must be very frustrating and scary, but I still firmly believe that in nine weeks you're going to have something that you can say without hesitation was worth it.

It's so good to hear from you ilke! I missed you :).

Hearing about your pelvic bone complications a while ago was kind of shocking, and I've been thinking about you ever since. And now with the diabetes... I wish I could find you and give you a gentle hug! But I'm so glad that you have your husband there for you, and I'll continue to pray for you!

Peace to you,
13

Aww, thanks. I've really missed being a part of this community, but BOY OH BOY have other things taken over! I hope that when I can stop working, and manage to get more than 2 hours of sleep, that I'll be able to come back and hang out with everyone again!

When your new baby manages to allow you more than a couple of hours of sleep at a time, that will be approximately 6 weeks into you being a mommy. I told myself that all the parents walking around with their children must have gotten thru the lack of sleep so it must be doable. Well, it IS doable, but it doesn't feel like it at the time. But it's totally worth it.

I had a deal with hubby when the tyke was older (two years...) He got up at the crack of dawn with the sprout on Mondays and Wednesdays and Saturdays. I did the rest of the week. Hubby got Saturday morning cartoons, so if you do that you may want to choose Saturday if you like cartoons. Kids like to get up early, early, early.

Sorry to hear about the diabetes, sweety. I'm sure though that everything will turn out fine. You have been having such a time of it... I wish there was something I could do for you. Hopefully the next 9 weeks will pass uneventful and you'll have a sweet baby in your arms at the end of it all.

Big hugs and you are in my thoughts, hon.

((()))

You will be alright, I am sure!

My cousin had diabetes when she had her first child and it was a bit annoying but there were no further complications.

How are your bones?

You might have read that I am pregnant, too, and I am a bit worried since procedures here are so different from what I am used to in Germany. It's strange to wait for an ultrasound until 12th week and then the next is at 20 weeks. In Germany you get one every month. At least.

*Hugs* Rest and take care of you and of your child. That's the most important thing now.
Have a nice day,
Sertyl.
