Eighty-seven hundred words? Holy crow! No wonder it took you so long! Mine are generally 4-6 K long, and I think that's quite a bit. Let's see... I've done 8 K words, and the chapter was about 18 pages in Word (12 font). Fucking hell! That's a lot, woman!

And yes, let's hope your beta isn't a mean old cow like me. ;)
