Too much art

No seriously. The problem with being an artist and being married to one is that well...you have a lot of art. We just took down my husband's most recent show and now we have a healthy stack of paintings that need a home. Some people remodel their kitchens, others redo their landscaping, and some build additions. Me? I'd have some custom art storage ( Read more... )

OMG! Those are great, so detailed, colorful, but far from cheesy. Hope this isn't an insult to your husband and his talent, but those would look so good in a nursery/little boys room, you know to help him look at things in a different way? Or maybe that's just me! Love the colors, so alive! BTW, thank you so, so much for my icon, it looks just like my pupper-poo!

I think they'd look good in a kids room too! I don't think my husband would be offended at all. He is very connected to his inner child and he LOVES his bike!

Oh my god, the chapter is up, and I'm soooo frickin' excited/nervous.

Did I get the color of blue right? I need to know for when I make you another icon sometime in the future! :)

We'll see. It might not be kinky enough. You know, the more I get into this, and talk more to you guys, I feel like I'm writing for you, dyno and soft. But, oh yeah, all those other readers too. LOL! Well, it's out there now isn't it? Than you for the love. I'll make the blue darker tomorrow. I thought it might be a little light too!

Okay, I'll try to relax. LOL!

Whoa -eclectic! I love stuff that's off the wall, you know?

You need a post-posting routine like Soft and I have. Post it and go distract yourself. Sometimes GE is so fast, and others...well, they're better than CG for time, anyhoo.

No shit! *eyes the ice cream*

Off the wall - that's definitely my husband. He is sweet and thoughtful, but I've never met anyone like him. Strange life makes you...strange, I guess. His stuff often walks the line between cute and creepy (which is actually the perfect formula for toy customizing - yet another of his talents, though he only does commissions these days, so th stuff gets shipped of when he is done. Thank god! Though I do miss the Rhino)

Yes, I see that I am babbling. Drstractions....I will have to come up with some possibilities. Hard since I don't drink. Hrmmm.......

I turn off my computer and leave my office altogether. Sometimes I take the dog for a walk, or just get outside, or go in the car for a ride. The point is to get away from my email so I don't sit and watch the reviews come in, haha. Then when I come back a few hours later, there's a whole list!

SQUEE!

Oh, I can definitely see how leaving the house and the computer altogether would be good. I'll have to experiment with methods next time around!

My whole house is like an art room - and yet with no place to put the art! It's time for an art sale, I think. Maybe I'll convince D to sell at on of the monthly art crawls.
