Spring Giddiness

I'm up in the eucalyptus forest of my best friend's house in San Francisco. It's quiet and peaceful and raining. Mr. Ilkee sent me photo this morning of Portland - covered in snow. I am sad that I missed it. Snow is so insulating and comforting.

First off, I love that. I am going to write it down and use it or just keep it with me always. :] Thank you for sharing.

And I am really sorry you missed the snow and the country club breakfast. And if I were wearing 3" heals for four hours, I would def not be doing anything besides bath-tubbing or relaxing! Lol, so I wouldnt consider the no 3 hour yoga class to be a loss. :P

One of my very favorite Rumi poems.

Did you see all the fuss this year when they celebrated his 847th birthday? (or whatever year, it was, I know that's close) How fabulous. It would be nice for folks to celebrate my birthday another seven hundred and some odd years after I bite it.
