Torchwood drabbles

I've got into the habit of doing that little ipod challenge thing as a writing exercise to get me going on the Ianto Big Bang. In the spirit of no longer hoarding all the fic I write to myself I'm sticking a fair few of my less embarrassing random wee drabbles up here :/ Also google is a life saver in sorting out how to make a cut on this website

The fact that you are posting these should totally be my signal to go to sleep, shouldn't it? Then again, you are awake awfully early...

I love these! Owen's was fantastic - heartbreaking in a single sentence. You know how I feel about Ianto's youth, and I love, love any fics about it. And Ianto is the best DJ ever. I like how you went through a whole crazy emotional scale with these.

Some were especially interesting with the music. Umbrella is almost jarring against the desperate, lonely piece you wrote. And All That Jazz matched the feeling of the ficlet so well! I thought Thriller was funny, considering the lyrics work really well, but the song itself is a bit more dancey. :)

I'm not awake early...I'm up very very late lol (it's not 6am here. really ;P). I'm having a few insomniac days which is exhausting but very fic productive haha.

I feel like I've neglected Tosh. Everyone else has a drabble but her lol. It's odd writing them to specific music. Sometimes it's the music that jolts the idea and the lyrics get totally ignored or it goes the other way, very much like it did with the Umbrella one (I think I like that the music comes over kinda jarring to you next to that fic). And sometmies everything clicks so very nicely together :D

cross-post?! not sure I'm quite that brave just yet hahahaha! Possibly soon. Have to man up before the big bang deadline after all.

Yeah, insomnia hasn't been helping me lately. I should really get more writing done. >.>

I tend to write more when I'm half asleep, so it's been working in my favour!

I might try a Tosh one next time. To be fair, she does have a whole small story from her POV hoarded on my laptop lol.

Tosh has a fic or two on my hard drive as well...in between the Ianto ones...

I'm still bewildered that there are people I met online who follow my LJ! That said, there are only like six of them, so no promises on responses or anything. But I think more people should read these! :D

It might be a Tosh pov fic, but it's all about the Janto lol. It's very hard for me to write anything TW without Ianto as a focus.

These were great! I'm not familiar with all your song choices, but I loved the little snippets you wrote for each, like a tiny piece of their lives that wraps around again at the end.
