I'm so ambivalent about Eleven in general, and the new season just made it worse. I can't find it in me to care about him. I watch because it's habit and sometimes entertaining, but it's not the same for me. Moffat took over and it's not the same. And Clara...don't get me started on Clara. I wanted to like her, but...you're right, she's a Mary Sue.
I cared more when the Ponds were there! They were awesome buddies and it just made a better show. I really wanted to like Clara, I mean she's cute but am I really supposed to believe she was there all the time saving him? Just grr...
