Just watched part one of "Angels in America." Wow. It's really, really interesting. It's about New York gays in the late 80s. Lots of gays. Nah, totally different from that Touched By An Angel crap. Angels in America is really powerful, really moving. I recommend reading the play, too, if you're a reading kind of person.

I have kind of a special attachment to Angels in America. I read the play (both parts) in my honors composition class freshman year of college. I got really into it, along with my friend David. I reread it senior year, and again last year before the movie was on HBO. And I have to say, the movie was an excellent adaptation. I've seen part 1 in a theater too, and while it's really different it's also really beautiful. I highly recommend picking up a copy of the plays.

I'll have to do that. Once I have a litle money. I am trying to pay off my credit card as fast as I can, so I am limiting myself to $50 of spending money every two weeks. I bought a CD yesterday, so I'll have to wait until the next paycheck comes in.

in older times "adieu" meant "you're going to die, so good bye", which is why it's bitterly amusing when people use it now. fun fact of the day!

that's why I like to use it - the macabre in me. I'm so disgustingly optimistic that I have to slip in subtleties.

(On Thursday) I have to reprice 50 titles at Best Buy, which means several hundred movies. I am going to try to leave early so that I can get it done, but I probably won't be back in the area until about 2pm. Is that okay for you?
