Oh, how wonderful!!! mssugah May 7 2012, 21:30:05 UTC
Toni, dahling, I don't have to tell you how much I LOVE this chapter. It's such a beautiful thing to see Carolyn and Marco not running away, but staying and listening to one another so that they may understand and work through such occurrences.
Yay for growth and progress!
...And a HUGE hooray for their beautiful, much awaited for love.
Bring it on, baby!!!

It is actually a room divider surface, with two slots each...but I used snapobjectoff cheat to place three together, and so got lots of usable slots. I think it's a pay object by um....Nanu or something like that from TSR. Will check when I get home.

If you can, that'd be great. If not, no worries.

Thank you, again, for this lovely, romantic, long overdue chapter. I so enjoyed it!

beautiful story!! anonymous May 9 2012, 02:12:11 UTC
ilikefishfood, hi it's Jayce here. You've done it again: created a beautiful story. Your pictures are always amazing. All the details (I can't help noticing things like the sponge near Carolyn's kitchen sink!) make it SO REAL. I love your dialogue, too, such natural flowing conversation and the way you arrange your sims (especially Carolyn's kids) so they look comfortable and connected with each other.
I know you like to throw those diabolical curveballs into the story (Nina and Kyle!)and I worried for a second there that Marco and Carolyn were going to fall back into that failed communication that's cursed them for years. But you've done something brilliant in really evolving their relationship. I felt Marco's determination. He's not going to let her go. I can't wait for more of your story!!

Jayce! You read the whooooooole thing! *wipes happy tear* You are ah-mazing!!!! And now that you've caught up, you'll have to settle for weekly updates. I hope you don't go into withdrawal! Heh heh.

I'm a bit ahead in game play. Yes, I'm actually playing out the story (embellished with dialog and posed scenes)...but yes, I'm actively playing them...and of course, taking time also to rotate to their various friends and family. Though I confess to a little speed playing of the other families :D

Thank you, thank you for reading it all...and noticing the little details in both the story and the settings. I'm beyond flattered.

There's still a lot of tale to tell. Brace yourself!

I still can't believe I missed the last couple of updates.
Carolyn was supposed to run, not.......urrrrgh!
But, I have to admit, the last couple of scenes were quite steamy. And definitely not work-appropriate, even if I'm on break (as I just found out-the embarrassing way). How do you keep doing things like that?

PS: Like everyone else has pointed out, you pay such attention to detail...I'm sooo envious!
On to comment on the next one!

OoooooooOOooo......did you get caught?! lol! I try not to show any bits and pieces, but they're still really hot! You should see the ones I didn't post!!!! :-o

Can't you just feel the energy between these two?

Thanks for your kind words about the details. I'm weird that way. I can't even enjoy game play if my lots aren't looking lived in. I periodically change clutter, and buy furniture and redecorate every few sims years.

I think it's my stressful job (I'm a radio talk show host and news editor) that makes me lose myself in my little sim world :D It's such a great escape. I worked 16 hours on Saturday, so Sunday I turned off my phones and spent the whole day in Christophe Harbour! lol!

Lets just say that it resulted in my boss calling me out on it - really, really loud - leading my co-workers and other bosses coming to see what the fuss was about,.....and yeah, they all know now just how addicted I am to playing Sims.

The energy between those two is literally sizzling, and addicting too.

I know what it's like to want some escape. I stretch myself waaaay too thin, too often - and when I want some me-time, I spend hours and hours playing Sims, re-building sets and writing up story-lines. Fun!

Oh dear Eileen! Sooorryyyy! Ok, I'm giggling a little bit. I hope he had a bit of a sense of humour about it...after all you were on a break.

I'm working this weekend and not getting to spend as much time with my simmies, but you better believe when I get home, that's what I intend to do 'til bedtime. Well, with a break for the premiere of the new True Blood season, naturally :-)

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
