Disclaimer: I'm a complete newbie to the franchise and this movie was my first peek into the ST universe. Live long and prosper, Captain Kirk and Spock. That's pretty much all I knew beforehand and I'm glad I had no expectations weighing me down because I LOVED it.

1) STAR TREK! I'm not a Trekkie. Everything I know about it, I know from pop culture but I'm so excited about this movie that it's bordering on insane. I don't *think* it's only because the cast is hot so yay for me not being  shallow (or completely shallow) because HE LL O!? I'm going to see it on Wednesday *bounces*
