1) Happy Thanksgiving to all those who are celebrating today.

2) It is cold here. Cold and snowy with forecasts of more to come. I expect that the weather will make the news over the next few weeks. It may even push coverage of the Royal wedding to the backburner *shock* *horror* Talking of The Wedding, is it making headlines where you are or is it ( Read more... )

Oh Smallville makes me so bitter every time it comes back to my attention.

I haven't seen the recent Merlin. Too bad about Morgana. I always liked her.

Me too but I'm a glutton for punishment. Damn you Allison for making me stick with it.

Katie McGrath still manages to do so well with the script she has but it's still not good enough. I can't help but mourn the missed opportunities.

The Wedding is making some headlines over here as well. People has a whole section for it on its site.

Morgana's a bad guy now? Sad. She was my favorite. Fuck that. But is it still worth watching enough to see the loltastic "special effects" and Teh Ghey between Merlin and, um, Prince guy whose name I can't remember at this moment?

I'm only gonna watch the Chloe scenes on YT after I read spoilers.

The wedding fever is crazy over here.

I always knew Morgana would go 'bad' eventually because it's what the legends dictate but they've executed it horribly. She's suddenly uncaring and cold towards everyone and I just can't buy it. Arthur and Merlin are still very slashy and Arthur and Gwen are very adorable too.

Best way to go. I'm worried about her arc already.

I'm sooo cold at the moment, we're not supposed to be getting snow in Oxfordshire until tomorrow night, but it's been bitterly cold for ages now anyway. It really makes me dread what january and febuary are going to be like, I don't want to have to tolerate this freeze all winter :/

And I'm surprised Allison's episodes are all in a row after the big deal the writers made about wanting to spread out her presence. I understand that Allison probably requested it so that she can get started on her new projects as easily as possible, but you'd think they could have held one episode back for the end of the season as her play should be finished then. I really want Chloe around for the finale

Winter really set in early this year. It's the same up North. Cold and snowy and there's already mass panic about gritting and the roads and people complaining about the country going to pot. It's the same every time it snows and I can't help but be amused.

I want her around for the finale too and her play does seem to finish in time for her to fly back up to film for it but she's been really determined about only being in five episodes this year so I think the decision is more hers than theirs and I don't blame her for wanting it out of the way TBH.

Oh yeah I understand the five episodes are Allison's decision, but I thought the producers would have more say on where they fall. I agree that Allison's current projects should definitely take priority as she's basically doing these five episodes as a favour after the writers sucked so much at wrapping up Chloe's character arc last year, but you'd think they could organise one of the episodes to be the finale instead of all four together. I'm okay with three together, but you'd have thought they'd want to hold one back at least to keep the Chloe fans watching

And as much as I sometimes complain about it, I know I'll see the show through to the end.

Hey, there, lovely!!! So good to see you posting!

So they're ruining Morgana? Bah! And now you know why I no longer watch a series until it's over. At least that way I can be prepared for wtf-ery. :-)

I haven't the slightest clue what's going on in Smallville. I have remained in my safe, happy, fanfic bubbble and I suppose I'll probably stay there. It's so nice in here- we have Lilt and Double Deckers and squishy armchairs by a fireplace and Chlark/Chlollie living happily ever after. I defy Smallville to beat THAT. Ha! *g*

Hope all is going well with you, petal. Miss you!

HEY!!

I'll let you know when the series is over if it's worthwhile you buying the DVDs. They may just redeem some of the wtf-ery. And the cast is SO pretty. Shallow? Who me?

It's best you remain in your little bubble. This show is rage inducing on far too many levels to cope with.
