Oh my god, i LOVED noughts and crosses... *sephy and callum* it made me ball my eyes out though at the end. It was such a touching story i remember i couldnt put it down for days.
So agree with you about Twilight, i work at a bookstore and it just kills me and frustrates me when i see young girls just come in to buy her books, theyll never get to know the classics like Austen and Bronte ect...grrrr. I mean the books prose isnt even great....oh well thats what sparkly vampires will do to you.
I also love Jodi picoult books, have you read any of hers, shes great. mmmmh who else? when i dont want to think, Nora roberts is great for that, she does romance stuff great...her male characters are to die for (hehehe)>
Also LJ Smith kicks ass :)

(sorry for babbling on)

Noughts and Crosses was an amazing book. I loved how she portrayed a prejudiced society in her own way. It made it different and it made it stick with the reader. I cried buckets at the end too. Have you read the whole series?

I do NOT get the Twilight craze. I just don't. Several of my sisters friends are crazy about it and it just baffles me.

I can't believe, I managed to forget JP. I love her books although I find them hard to read at times, not because of the writing but because of her subject matters. Th emotional impact is hard going sometimes. My Sister's Keeper was heartbreaking and for a good while I couldn't even read another book of hers because I was pretty pissed off with how it ended.

Nora Roberts is my favourite romance writer. She's so much better then others in the genre.

And you're not babbling. I love hearing your thoughts :)

Timeline! OMG, that takes me back. I loved that book. I thought he made a good effort to keep it relatively realistic and scary.

For some crazy reason, I've just discovered Michael Crichton and I'm working my way through his books. Timeline is definitely my favourite so far.

I thought he made a good effort to keep it relatively realistic and scary.

I think you've managed to perfectly sum up his style of writing.

"Next" as in the movie "Next" with Nicolas Cage? The one in which the main guy can see a few minutes into the future?
