I come to you today with a very serious question and one which weighs heavily on me. It is a moral dilemma.
Hypothetically, something happened to you, many years ago which you have no recollection of. Yet it severely altered your personality. If you found out about it, it could be detrimental to your relationship with someone very important to you.

on the flip side, if they are aware of it, they might go nuts of they don't know.
on the third, physically impossible side since i'm using coin analogies and they only have two sides, even if they are utterly unaware of ...whatever the past might hold, if you can clearly see it having a negative effect on their current life, then tell them.
what i mean is, if whatever happened is effecting how they act now, say making them afriad to go out the front door, but they don't know why the feel that way, well, talk to them.
but to be perfectly frank... you got a mess on your hands. *hugs* i wish i could be more helpful.

I'll have to investigate further.
I'm just looking at it from my perspective. If something major happened to change who I was as a person I'd like to know what happened so I could try and fix it. But not everyone is like that.
