Careful now... Lesson #1, atheism is not a belief, or something to believe in, it is simply the lack of belief in deities. As Dawkins will point out, we wouldn't call someone who (for instance) doesn't believe in santa claus 'a believer in asantaism' :)) They just don't have cause to believe in such a thing.
Well, that's true enough. I still feel inclined to put it across in that way though. I'm up to chapter 4 right now; Why there almost certainly is no God. I never looked at the issues around religion and atheism in such a light so it has been wholly rewarding and insightful thus far. What I find very interesting is Dawkins putting across the debate for whether or not God exists as a probability. I really like this way of thinking about it. As of yet I cannot say that there is 100% no God. I kind of look at atheism and see it as a life choice. I believe in its principals.
It has also been driven home just how deceptive and misinterpreted words can be. So yes, saying that I believe in atheism is a very wobbly plank to be standing on. I'll try to remedy that ^__^
