Haha, right after I made this post, two of them basically just peeled off like they were fake nails XD I'm keeping them around to see if I can slap them back on with some clear top coat underneath acting as a glue because painting it back takes so much more time, but it's really bizarre. I mean, I appreciate that it didn't chip off bit by bit, but they fell off so cleanly, I'm wondering why.

I've totally had that happen, usually when using a thick topcoat like seche vite. The things that help prevent it are making sure there's no trace of moisturizer or oil on your nails before polishing and using a sticky base coat like Orly Bonder.

Ooh, good tip! Honestly, all my polishes are really cheap so I'm guessing none of it is super long-living anyway, so even though i make super sure that everything's dry, it still happens. Will look into getting the base coat, that really should help.

Haha, it was so boring I might as well have. This was done before my 4pm office happy hour margaritas, and got lots of compliments from supervisor and coworkers so I got to show off there too XD

Love the nails! Weirdly, they remind me of the Atlantis artwork/aesthetic from SGA. Very pretty.

Thank you! Haha, funny you should say that because I was thinking the same thing! It wasn't deliberate, mostly came out of having too bright blue glitter polish and trying to figure out how to make it work without just blinding people, but it really did turn out kind of like the atlantis designs :D
