Kind of GIP, art blues and poll

Look, new icon! Isn't it amazing? (I don't know who made it. If anyone does, please let me know and I'll edit in the info) In my more frustrating and uncreative moments, that's photoshop talking to me :( In my meaner moments, that's photoshop talking about any artwork I come across that I can't stand ( Read more... )

Seriously, I leave you unattended for two days and this is what you get up to?

I'd say draw me art, but I always say to draw me art and you never do.

last question: go dig up some Billy Idol and re-ask.

I make silly polls in the minutes you leave for a break on Fridays, two days is more than enough time to think up stupid questions :D

Do not get connection between Billy Idol and random "If I had" ticky option?

here. It's even helpfully in the "preview" snippet, so you don't have to watch the video. Although you should, since it's very much of its time and place.

'whilst' seems distinctly UKish? For me? Maybe? If I hear people saying it in an arrogantly US or Canadian accent, I tend to roll my eyes at their try-hard colonial pretension, lololol.

I think of 'buffer zone'! Because I've had those involvements with friends/family where either I had to be one, or someone else did, XD

AHAHA I love how everyone checked off everything in the last question. Predictable flist is predictable!

Good luck with artist's block, bb. Those are like so never ever fun to have.

I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone use whilst. Only read it. I guess it could fit? But yeah, until I hear it, it seems like one of those words that could sound a little out of place in modern speech.

And thanks, artist's blocks suck :(

I hear the word "buffer" and I think "a mechanical device used on floors to polish the wax."

This! I have buffed with a buffer. (And then sometimes I think of buffer overrun errors.)

Oh! I didn't know these were called buffers! Although, makes sense :D

I see I am the only person to profess to hate Adam Lambert. On the other hand, I do love brussels sprouts. Especially with bacon. I'm not sure if bacon could convince me to like Adam Lambert more though.

Also I have never seen cream cheese in a jar.

Photoshop's started giving me this look when I start it up. I can tell. >:[

I used to not be able to stand Lambert (mainly fannish overload and automatic AI snobbery) but then I accidentally heard one of his songs and it was really catchy? And now I have three of his songs? So...am conflicted.

I might also have read AI fic. My fannish reading habits have no boundaries :(

You've obviously not been shopping for cream cheese in classy enough places. Or I could just have said jar to make it short, but I like to think that there are places snazzy enough to have cream cheese in jars.

Fair enough. I've never liked a song of his that I've heard, so!

and I can't judge on the fic front because I've been reading a shit ton of Inception fic. WHO STILL HASN'T SEEN THE MOVIE? That's right, me. In my defense it's like... the only active fandom right now before fall TV starts back up.

You're right, "eating cream cheese straight out of the little foil packet" just doesn't have any dignity to it as a lifestyle choice :(

Exactly. Although, I hope that the spoon is at least not shared.
