• It has been exactly a month since I last posted any fanart D: More Star Trek's coming up soon though, Thursday, in fact (for trekreversebang) and then my second one later in the month, and I'm doing art for two stories for SPN Bigbang, drafts due June 1, and I am finishing up one art commission and starting up another huge one, not to mention the various fanart

The clothing difference is deliberate because she's supposed to have returned from the US when the movie starts :) And yes, I love that stomping off bit.

Hm, off the top of my head, some of my favorites: Dor (lovely female friendship), Mr. and Mrs. Iyer (serious but hopeful), Lagaan (period film and has a lot of cricket in it, but the cricket is almost a metaphor, and also, the songs are awesome), Taare Zameen Par, Astitva, Omkara (adaptation of Othello, and IMO, skilfully done), Anand (older movie, tear jerker). I really enjoy all of them. I'm not sure about Anand, but the others should have subtitles.

That movie is a delight, and each of the songs and dances is beautiful! That girl (I forget her name) is scrumptious. So is Madhuri Dixit, for that matter.

I love the Laila Majnu sequence, the "Is Pal main hu" song bit especially. And Konkona Sen Sharma really is scrumptious, I watch pretty much everything she's in :D
