Oscars:
Neil Patrick Harris was very sparkly in his sequined tux. Not quite sure what he was doing at the Oscars, but I guess Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin can't sing or dance... I adore NPH, but that was really not his best performance. Although I dare say still probably a bajillion times better than the rest of the show given the first two

You have no idea how much of it is from experience and knowing we need to get on top of all that before it snowballs!

In regards to the Oscars, color me super surprised it's actually being shown live on the West Coast! Which is very refreshing after the crap NBC pulled with the Olympics. Pity I don't watch award shows.

Frankly, you're not missing anything here. The last time I watched the Oscars for any large amount of time was the first time Jon Stewart hosted, just for his monologue and other random bits. And the only other award show I ever sat through was the last Emmys, because I ♥ Neil Patrick Harris.

Oh ye of little faith, I would have just forced my guests into sharing the obsession XD glockgal left earlier today. Although, only after I'd managed to take her through a whirlwind youtube tour of NPH, Reduced Shakespeare Company and Goodness Gracious Me yesterday :D

And that is why we get along so well! Ok, there are probably other reasons, but that's a pretty important one.
