Fury Road

Every time I saw a trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, I quietly said "I hope that doesn't suck."

I've been burned by sequels and reboots and the like before. So my level of hope was "doesn't suck".

This was far, far beyond "doesn't suck". To the point where I'm looking at not merely seeing it again, but actually paying for one of the "upgraded ( Read more... )

I could totally do the fanboy gush, but... I mean, I figure most people know I'm a post-apox nutjob, so it wouldn't mean much. Of course I liked the car in it. It's like, what I do. :D

That's why I thought it was an excellent review: you've got the car, all you need is the camera crew! So you wouldn't recommend stuff not up to your own insane standards. :)

When I was leaving Albuquerque and you were driving beside me from the shop, across the desert with the whole front suspension bouncing around over roadside debris and a big plume of dust coming off the back of the car, at that moment I totally got what you were aiming for when you built it.
