I'm honestly really impressed at these! Both of them evoke such differing emotions. In the first one, there's more of a sense of innocence, of lightheartedness and a matter-of-fact tone that's very fitting for Peter and Nathan, respectively. Young!Peter's so adorkably cute and idealistic - I love that line about Nathan having been able to talk him out of leaving the cape at home. That drabble's totally part of my personal canon now.

The second one carries a mixture of slight weariness and peace, to me. It is kind of sad knowing that Claire would realistically outlive her entire family, but I could see her doing something like what she's doing in that snapshot. Aw, Claire.

Your writing style is lyrical, fraught with emotion, but you incite all these different emotions with so few words, which is (IMO), pretty hard to do. Excellent work!

I adore young Peter. I struggle writing children-even in short fics-but Peter, even as an adult, is still so innocent, and good, and earnest it makes it a little easier.

Thank you, again. :) I've been feeling kind of like a hack lately, so it's good to hear from people on work (fanfiction and other) that I put out there.
