when doing laundry, most people separate out their whites. i was once snerked at (from kentucky, no less) b/c i separate out my blacks to wash together, & yes, i do have an entire washload of black clothes. you, sir, may now find it amusing to know that i also now separate out all of my reds. i make 3 piles on laundry day- blacks, reds, and "others ( Read more... )

I do my laundry mostly this way. Reds have their own load. Dark colors plus black- it depends though. If I have A LOT of blacks then I separate them too. And then whites get done together. And then lights of all colors get done together. :P

um, really? i thought everybody just separated the whites from the darks & that i was special & weird. but then i only wear black, white, grey, & red anyway. except, um wait...

blue jeans, in my Color Paradigm, have always occupied the position of Neutral, being only Light or Dark & bearing no Real Color.

but now you've got me shifting that Paradigm & i'm thinking that i may need to create an extra pile for my blue jeans & my green pants...

laundry is more complex than i had previously thought.
