i personally believe that... such as i myself felt somewhat embarrassed, likewise for all other U.S. Americans here in our nation, such as myself and others.
I saw this a few days ago, and all I think is.. she's lucky that her looks will save her from natural selection. Unlucky for the future, however.
I was shocked - shocked! - this morning to see a news clip on ninemsn about her saying she regrets answering the question in that way. Apparently she didn't hear the question properly (despite the fact that she repeats the question in a round about manner at the beginning), but girl, that's no excuse for what came out, and it's no excuse for referring to "US Americans" and ending a sentence with "everywhere and such as".
bah! i read that article too. it seems rather apparent to me that her pageant coach has instructed her to replace the word "like" with "such as" b/c it sounds more smarter. *snerk*

oh now, c'mon... don't tease me about it! that's just mean. what i really need are your prayers- for, as you can see- i am surrounded by idiots... & such. ;)
