If so, what are you afraid of?: Castiel's really only afraid of two creatures, his brothers Lucifer and Raphael, who are archangels. Lucifer's locked away at the moment but could eventually be released, which is what Raphael's working toward. He and Castiel are opposing leaders in a war right now.
And if he doesn't already know, could he read it off you if you ever met him?: Sure. :3
When reading your mind, is there anything special he might encounter?: Not really, though angels are pretty used to reading each other's minds and having their own minds read, so Castiel might recognize he's doing it? Unless it's stealthy, which is fine. <3

Like Angie, ironically, Katurian is afraid of his parents. They were an eccentric, frighteningly sociopathic couple who wore bright clothing, smiled very widely, praised the shit out of him, and tortured his older brother within earshot for seven straight years because they thought it would mold Katurian into an artistic genius. (They spent a great deal of time convincing Katuiran that the screams were all in his head - when he found out the truth, he killed them both.) He's also afraid of Desire, who legit drove him crazy last year.
More in general, he's afraid of losing his mind (again), being used or manipulated, becoming his parents, having people hurt because of him, and, most importantly, losing his stories and being forgotten.
