Why do you think the scientists chose us? Do you think it's something special or was it just random?

...And, for the record, the communicator really does shock you if you don't use it enough.

no objects for sale, curse you yukari, damn you scientists, questions, at least my shop didn't explode

...It's rather difficult to tell what they're thinking.

It is. Even the people who have spoken with the scientists seem a little unsure.

...The only clear way to know is getting a straight answer from the scientists themselves.

Which is probably never going to happen. Right?

These bastards have reasons for picking whoever they do. They planned it out.

You think so?

I know it.

How can you be so sure?

...it worries me they may have sent some here on purpose.

It seems in most cases, they planned for the "subject" to suffer. Very few people are happier here than back in their own world.

It's more than that though. If they knew about us, why did they bring in people who are very capable of ruining everything else?

I don't know, but they have bad timing either way.

Wonderful. How often do I need to use it to avoid that?

What were you doing when they brought you here?

It takes approximately 2 weeks before it shocks you.

Trying to get my original body back.

Thank you. Better to not find out from experience in this case. Shocks from magic were bad enough at home.

Ah, so in your world you can swap bodies?

Magical shocks can indeed be pretty painful, but it seems this is just a small burst of electricity.

Maybe they chose us, hoping to find something... but they aren't sure what.

Reply

iknowitspurpose April 30 2010, 16:33:31 UTC
So it was like a gamble?

mizu_isei April 30 2010, 16:51:39 UTC
I think so...

If they knew for sure, wouldn't they have the answer already? They keep sending people home and bringing new ones here.

Reply

iknowitspurpose April 30 2010, 17:18:40 UTC
But they also return the ones they sent home previously. Maybe they sent them home on accident, or maybe they wanted to cause a reaction here?
