I really liked the concept behind this! A year or so after graduation, Jordan is in a relationship with Rickie, but he's still not comfortable with it, or in his own skin. Who were these people at the end, was it Krakow and some girl, or was it just random people who were supposed to be representative of his "straight" days and his confusion? But I think your writing has much matured since this fic; there were quite a few awkward moments in this one. And I'm still not sure I can imagine Jordan and Rickie together. I'd really like to know how you imagined they got to this point you are writing about.

The people at the end... sigh. My subtleness really kills me. It was supposed to be (or not be, but remind him of) Angela, Brian, Rayanne and Sharon. His past basically, or what he would like or find easier to be his past but it's not because they're Rickie's friends. Obviously he still has a lotta regrets, rough past with Angela etc and may not be completely over her

ya know, I'd have to read it again to point out the awkward spots...Which I will when I have time. Yeah, I figured the people at the end were supposed to remind him of Angela, Brian etc., but it probably could have been expanded a bit so that we'd understand better what he's feeling at that moment, without it being so straight forward it loses all beauty.
Your explanation makes sense of how they might've started dating. I think it might be fun to explore the hesitation and guilt Rickie might feel for having hooked up with his best friend's ex, but I suppose love could eventually make Jordan more important than some torch Angela might still be carrying. Friends, in real life, hook up with each others exes much more frequently than we might think. Besides, I kinda feel like Rickie liked him first ;).
