    Great stuff, thank you! Nephthys can always surprise one, as can Thoth, with their ability to fit themselves into the pantheon sideways, so to speak. And of course the Distant Goddess myth turns the whole theology sideways, which seems to be its purpose, on some level! As for who that Cat is yowling in the night from the temple of Neith, I can't say for certain, but the description certainly is evocative.
