Yes. Just... Yes.
I can't even. Begin. To. Wow. Just.
Beautiful.
Dude, that made me cry. It was just so... raw. And real. And fantastic.
Beautifully written.
And that last sentance. Wow.
It's funny because this kind of mirrors a relationship I'm in in real life.
Just amazing. Haha, sorry this review isn't very constructive. =/

I totally didn't expect a comment like this.♥
I was expecting lots of critique pointing out all the flaws I knew were there but didn't want to fix because it was supposed to be raw and it was never going to be perfect.
So, yeah, wow, I'm so flattered and glad you got it and, yeah. Thank you for reading and commenting and, moreover, for understanding.

The thing is, your fics are never truly sad. Just a bit melancholical. No exagerrated plots or anything, just real and intense feelings. True to real life. Mature.
And Jesse is so resigned in this one. Wake up call for John Nolan.
And then you leave. Looking everyone you see in the eye and hoping, just hoping, for anything that constitutes a reaction.
Perfect ending. That totally fits, feels right, makes sense, so John.
Knowing Jesse Lacey is like living in the tropics.
Humour in the nostalgia! Like it.
Also, I'm reading this while listening to 'A Decade under the influence' of TBS, and that makes everything twice as intense. Brilliant!
