Rawr, love that new music feeling. It makes you want to just go home and obsessively read all the covers, and spend ages filing them alphabetically into your CD collection as you listen to them, one by one.
Right now, I am importing all into my hard drive and cleaning up genre IDs, titling, and so on. Later, once they are all imported and pretty, I will file them into my racks (alphabetically, of course), and listen to them. ^.^
But first priority is getting them to hard drive, or I will want to listen at work and go "Wait! I KNOW I have that Gomez album, why's it not on my iPod?!"
I used to take a lot of road trips, and I originally got the 'pod so I could not have to try and figure out which CDs I wanted to take with me in the car. Now, I travel a lot for work, so it's even more important.
... that reminds me: I need to go buy that cable to make my DVD ripper work, so I can have movies too... *ponders when that can get crammed in*
