Blufftonia, how fair

Sep 16, 2007 19:02

I spent the weekend with my Mom, packing the rest of the stuff in the house in the fair village (srsly, 1 sq. mile of town) of Blufftonia. It was a weird weekend.
---Before I tell you about the packing and the stuff I forgot was in her attic and one of mom's friends asking if my life is "built around shock value" (... yes, really), I want to tell ( Read more... )

I was commenting just yesterday at how most of the time I am in awe of you. I know you most likely believe you are just you and there is not much all that special. I want you to know that there is. You astound me in many varied and complex ways. I read your journal almost everyday and I never comment, mostly, because I don't really know what to say that doesn't come out something akin to what a 14 year old groupie would say. To that end, please don't take this as me saying "OMG, I love you. You are so cool." But that is kinda like what I AM saying ( ... )

... Thanks?

Yeh, pretty much. Nothing astounding here, really. Just rambly nonsense.

I will say I am glad I am entertaining :)

In re: "growing up" - Mom and I were talking this weekend about my ex-husband (The Yuppy Puppy) and how we wondered how he's doing and what not, and I said something along the lines of how he thought I was going to "grow out of it [being a freak]." And Mom sez "Yeh, we all did."

Which is pretty funny coming from her, she who still talks about what she wants to be when she "grows up" - and she's 52. Go figure.

I just really enjoy reading your posts! I know, call me crazy but I do.

It is always nice to take a trip down memory lane. You look at things differently than you did at that time. And of course you were loved back then just as you are loved now.

Glad that you had a safe trip down there and back. Maybe we can get together sometime this week. Let me know. XO

I'm glad people enjoy reading my pointless blather - I know it helps me to get it out of my head sometimes, so I am glad that it's fun for other people too :)

I know I am loved now - and I am so grateful for the people in my life I can't even begin to tell you - but it never occured to me how very loved I was then. It's really cool to be able to look back on it through a new filter with the perspective of time.

Glad you enjoy them :)

Mostly, I am just having word vomit onto a screen of my thinkings - and I am always afraid they are making no sense. I'm glad they do to some folks, at least.

boxes of memories..I like how when you open them they surround you with the very moments that are caught in ever photo, word and bit of some thing within.

You must be all sorts of happy in the reunion of the fad three and the son of one of the four.

I loved seeing Vera this morning as I drove in to the factory.
