They've started introducting electronic voting in some of the ridings here on a trial basis. Along with the instructions they hand out pamphlets that explain all the ways that the votes can be validated.

I'm fine with the electronic voting - we used it locally in our last election in fact. What crawled up my butt and died about it was that there was a whole thing about how that was the "only solution" to the fiasco of hanging chads, and they set out that whole mandate about using them which cost everyone a whole big pile of money to buy all new machines... And now they're saying the machines they originally mandated aren't good enough.

NPR is o.k. I guess but it is kind of like the "OH lets all hate conservatives" channel. As long as I can stomach a whole bunch of people with like 6 last names " Hi I am juanita-rosario-ferndip-johansen for today's news" basically telling me that just because I have some tradidtionl values, I must be an unenlighted Boob from a "red state"

The talk shows all kind of sound the same to me.
