Ha, ha, ha! Yea - I'm rather glad none of the prompts I was working with were separation, death and such. I've worked with those topics, of course. But it's not a good time! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your comments,
Glad you feel the characters worked. I always appreciate hearing that. Sometimes I write Scotty strong and confident and sometimes more insecure, but I think its because the show let us see both of those aspects of his personality. While I'm a HUGE Kevin fan, I somehow find Scotty easier to write for. A less complex personality, and maybe more diverse....

Scotty and Jordan are so cute and funny. And Scotty is totally adorable... Sigh. Loved how Kevin is suportive and didn't make fun of Scotty when he explained the "love potion" thing. lol! Scotty embarassment and Kevin so happy and proud of himself is so funny!

LOL! I thought you would guess; you're always one step ahead of me!! There were a few that could have had second chapters, but this one in particular had barely no Kevin in the original and the prompt "Love Stricken" just sort of begged for that one to be continued, even if it wasn't the most popular of the group....
I kept doubting the Jordan parts, (I wanted them in there, but I'm not too in tune with how he would talk, etc) so I'm glad you mentioned that, & that it turned out ok.

I was hoping for a follow-up for PfD and here it is. I can't believe that Scotty would think that a week later he was still feeling the effects of the potion...or for that matter, believed the potion worked in the first place! Who could not resist Scotty Wandell?! I love the teasing between Kevin and Scotty; they could have made the characters so much more fun in the series...I'm beginning to think that they had the wrong writers on board ;) Thanks for posting.
LOL! What can I say? Scotty can be "pretty" sometimes....
I think my thought process here was Kevin "the practical one" would think, you ingested something, it should have left your system. Done. Whereas Scotty, perhaps more open minded with other cultural beliefs could have fallen for the undefinable mystical/magical qualites of it all.
I wish we had seen more light hearted moments between the boys too. They gave us enough to see that it was possible, but definitely focused on the negative/hardships. Thx for reading and commenting,
I loved it just how I like Kevin and Scotty to be, how many times have we said that the writers could have done so much more with the boys. I am off this week so it has given me a chance to catch up, as always well done and thanks for writing and looking forward to the next one.
