this has reminded me of some of the possibilities i have been thinking about as well. though it is funny because i think we all fear the worst for our favorite characters

Yeah, I won't be surprised if Remus dies. I guess I don't think Harry dies because the possiblity seems too much to bear. That's sounds really stupid, but it's just that she said that the last chapter is going to be an epilogue, and "scar" being in the epilogue indicates Harry will make it through, but I suppose I won't be too surprised if he dies, but I will be pretty ticked off.

I don't think Neville will be too instrumental either. I mean, as moral support, sure. He's a great friend, but he's not the ONE. ;P

too lazy to comment on the entire thing, but one comment: The word "scar" at the end hints that Harry will still be there at the end, likely meaning that he's alive.

^that's not necessarily true. Jo could always end it with something like "and they always remembered the boy with the scar", obviously better worded, lol, but you know what I mean.
