Even after reading Deathly Hallows, Cedric's death is probably the only death in Harry Potter that made me misty-eyed.

At least, Dumbledore's "remember Cedric Diggory" speech did.

Oddly enough, I sobbed like crazy at the movie, but when I read the book the first time, I nearly missed that he'd died until Harry was hauling his body back through the Portkey.
