my thoughts, in no particular order: it's been really hard for me to make any friends in this non florida division. i'm sure it would be much easier for you, though. if you're applying to grad school i would definitely apply for an assistantship, which can not only cover the cost of school but give you a stipend as well. also, subbing pays way less than costco and you actually need to be certified to do it in a lot of states. also, it sucks. wherever you end up in life, i've always got a place for you right here in my heart and you can always sleep on my couch.

thanks!! just to let you know, i snore sometimes. But on the bright side i don't have many personal possessions so everything of mine fits in a nice suitcase. that is iff your couch becomes a requisite place for which I may have to land. Yeah, maybe I could stick with costco depending on what kinda hours i get. Most suburbs have one somewhere, it would just be a matter of finding out where exactly i want to go.

teaching job would be tight but I dont think it can pay for housing and all that. Market is rough for it. I suggest working at costco and getting out of the FLA. Your making friends skillz should be a non issue fagel.

Yah, this is what research is suggesting, the teaching thing might not pan out maybe as extra income but not as a steady flow. And thanks dude. The stache rules btw.

So...I'm thinking about moving to Asheville, NC, after I finish up school next semester. Ideally, I'll be retaining my current housemate/super adorable person, and we'll be making the pilgrimage together. The cost of living is a lot cheaper up there and housing is way more affordable and I'd really like to rent a huge house and see if anyone else here is looking to relocate. Just putting that out there...

Asheville is fucking awesome.

realllllly? I'm very intrigued by this. It's time to get out of Florida. My family is here but I feel that opportunities abound elsewhere and I would like to pursue them. I have heard really awesome things about Asheville, and Nik Ritchie is moving there in January.
My plan is to save up $5000 and move by the end of next Summer. I will put Asheville on the table especially knowing that two of my favorites will be possibly be there as well.
