There was a bandage just over his right eye, and he certainly looked like he'd been through the wars, but his breathing seemed normal and he otherwise looked quite peaceful. [Sitting in a chair beside his bed, wringing water from a cloth she'd run under the tap. Carefully, she pushes up Allelujah's hair and places it on his forehead like Bishop had told her to -- to keep him hydrated, he'd said.

Sits back down and places her hands in her lap, so worried that she's past the point of anxious fidgeting. She just wants Allelujah to wake up and be okay now, more than anything -- and she's been staying by his bed for a while now, hoping for that. Her tiredness from staying up and falling asleep in the chair next to him is evident by the rings under her eyes.]

[Allelujah stirs suddenly, dazedly coming back to consciousness without opening his eyes just yet. His head is pounding, but the cloth on his forehead feels cool...

What's happened? He runs his mind backwards... trapped in the Kyrios. So the enemy has him? No, that's not right... there was a rescue. The community. ... Nill? Nill was there... or was that just his imagination?

He cracks open his eyes, and when he speaks his voice sounds slightly hoarse.]

H... hello...?

[She jumps when she hears him speak, and looks up, staring wide-eyed at him. For a while, she just sits, frozen stiff, until she finally manages to get to her feet and take a step over to the bed.

There are tears in her eyes, and she wants to hug him, but she knows she should wait to see how he's feeling -- she places a hand on his shoulder gently, to let him know that she's there, and just waits, worried.]

[He can feel Nill's hand there and see her, standing there - so the rescue wasn't a dream after all. He hopes she isn't crying - no, that's silly. After that letter and the way he must have worried her, she has every right.]
