I'm getting my ass handed to me in grad school even when I work my ass off. Please help.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what to do to study or tips on paper writing.

the first semester is the worst! it sucks, but after this you'll be used to it, you'll know what to expect, and you'll know you can do it. don't worry about being perfect, just make it through. lord knows i had to skim/skip a lot of readings in order to keep my sanity!

if you ever need to vent i am just a phone call away! i'm looking forward to seeing you over break...and i just happened to pick up a lil somethin somethin for you!

I agree with Marge that the first year is definitely the pits. Whenever I think I'm in over my head, I try to remember this: You got in because you are capable of doing this. If you weren't, you wouldn't have been accepted

I really needed a boost of academic confidence. I don't know why I've been so hard on myself. I do the all nighters too, but I feel like I'm writing on a 5th grade level. it's annoying to get B's when all my fellow students are getting A's! arg. I know I just need to get back in the swing. Thanks so much for responding.
