Thelma was there when Cassie awoke.

Much to Thelma's surprise.

"Hi," she said.

"With champagne, mistletoe, and a lot of merry spirit?" Thelma said.

Cassie gave a little chuckle, shaking her head. "I'm sure the nurses would not approve," she said. "Bring it on."

"Screw the nurses," Thelma said. She peered out the hall. "And, really, that's not a half bad sentiment, given the looks of some of them. Rawr."

"Any of them been napping in the coffee lounge, by any chance?" Cassie asked with a little smirk.

"I've been very diligent, thank you very much," Thelma said.

"I thought you'd have figured that a good use of your downtime," Cassie said shrugging lightly. "I was out for a while."

"I take protecting you very seriously," Thelma said.
