Cassie, surprisingly enough, actually liked the slightly cooler evenings out here. It was far more like the climate she was used to.

Add that overall comfort to the spa experience she'd just had, and she was feeling pretty refreshed. Everything that was going on had somehow been pushed out of the forefront of her mind, for the moment at least

Thelma sighed. "Always with the blokes, isn't it," she said.

"They do exist. Whether you like it or not," Cassie said, frowning slightly. "And you can't say that having anyone fan you would be a bad thing."

"That's not it at all," Thelma said. "You... you flirt with me, you know."

Cassie stopped at that point turning back to the other girl. "... Thelma," she started.

"It's not... we're mates," Cassie continued carefully, really hoping this wasn't coming across as badly as she thought it might be.
