That looks more like a spring onion. Leeks are bigger and...um...greener, aren't they?(Sorry. Yeah, that is a leek. But when I grow them, that's the seedling size, just about right for me to transplant them outside.)

And I have no idea which day is St. David's Day--yesterday or today. (Seven hours different. Right now it's 9 PM Saturday on the wet coast. 4 AM Monday across the Big Blue Water.) But I hope the Welsh have a good day, whichever it is/was.
