I don't know about you, but the people yelling "Repost" in communities* really annoy me.
Seriously, just don't read it for goodness sake.

Anyway, macros as a response.

I know! I heard it sometime in my childhood, then pretty much forgot about it, but every so often I remember and sing it to myself and get ther weirdest looks from strangers... wonder why... ;P

Yeah - this comm rocks.
No trolls, no horrible people, no angst, no drama.

It's one of my favourite songs.
(Plus, David Tennant's character in Takin' Over the Asylum plays it on the hospital radio in an episode - it made me happy)

Hehhee. I'm looking at the first two and just thinkin, "Oh, look, a couple of the cast from Learners!" I love the tiny, tiny, incestuous world that is British television casting.

My fiance will love you forever for that quote from "They're Coming to Take Me Away". :)

Sorry to be dim, but what does that mean? They want something reposted because they missed it the first time?

It's when someone posts something that someone else has recently (or in some comms - several months ago) posted.
There are inevitable comments of "repost" - sometimes accompanied with a macro. And, usually, more than one person comments.

It's lame.

It's not a silly question - especially if you've been fortunate to only be involved in friendly comms.

Thanks for the explanation!

It sounds rather a rude thing to do, unless the same thing has been posted several times in a short space of time - and even then, not everyone reads stuff at exactly the same time.

I'm glad I've been lucky enough not so see it yet.

People seem to think it's okay to be rude online - anonymity and all that.
I think they're just wankers :D

The comments annoy me more than the actual repost (which doesn't really annoy me anyway).

Just avoid the bitchy comms and you'll be sweet as.
(stupid bitchy comms and their stupid bitchiness)
