OK doke - it's clear from the poll that most people here enjoy non-macro funny Doctor Who pix, and would mostly be happy for them to be posted here. (It also appears we have been considerably infiltrated by Martian fighting machines, but never mind that.)
This means you don't have to stick a needless caption on an already funny picture. Ergo *waves regally* I hereby banninate the You're Doing It Wrong meme - with the exception of jokes about sex. >:-) I've already added the holiday snaps tag for amusing photos, and I'll add more as they're needed. It'd be a good idea to add a note to your non-macro postings so folks can skip them if they so desire.
Speaking of tags: some of you will have noticed the actual macros lol tag. Now this tag is reserved for stuff which falls within the strict definition of a macro, ie, a captioned image which can be used as a comment (often but not always sarcastic) in an Internet discussion. That said, I allow all kinds of malarkey in here. The most important thing is that what you post is funny - really, really funny. Always try to post your best work.
To conclude: comment with your anonymous complaints about anything you find boring or annoying about ihasatardis - whether it's the postings or the mod! (But don't refer to anyone by name (except me obvs) or I'll delete your comment. If you must kvetch about a specific person, use the pseudonym A. Nonce.)
PS Meant to add! Looks like NZ won't get through all of S3 until the end of November, so keep those SPOILERS cut and warned, especially for the end of the season - thanks folks!
