Brainy is the NEW sexy? No no no, brainy is, and always has been, 'the sexy'. ;)

I mean, just look at the TARDIS! Smarter than the Doctor (she knows where he's meant to be, even if he doesn't) and easily the sexiest thing in that entire show. (Yes, I'm counting Jack. And the Brigadier. And Benton. Both classic Masters. Sarah Jane. Barbara. Martha. Even Rory, though it's close.)

Evidence supporting this conclusion: Companions never travel with the Doctor just because he's the Doctor. They go because he has the TARDIS. ;) (In the cases where they have a choice in the matter, anyway.)
