Its a reference to a show called "Pimp My Ride" where the host and crew usually fix up and put stuff relating to the interests of the surprise contestant in the contestant's car. The host usually said something along the lines of "We put a *insert interest here* in your Car so you can *insert interest here while you ride/drive* Which led to a meme where people started saying "I put a *x* in your *x* so you can *y* while you *y*"

They did it in "The Time Monster" too, except that the Doctor mis-set things and so his TARDIS was inside the Master's, while the Master's was inside his... Very confusing.
